Art for the Soul is excited to announce a series of our Youth Social Justice Art workshops. Local artists will lead short lectures and hands-on workshops to inspire and engage youth, ages 13-18 years, around social justice issues.
This community Poetry/Hip Hop Workshop is lead by Maurice Taylor, co-founder of the P.E.A.C.E program, which teaches elementary students to express themselves through poetry and Hip Hop. In this workshop, Maurice will teach the art of evoking the past to change the future, through poetry, Hip Hop, and cultural expression to create, or impact, social justice movements. For ages 13-18.
When: Saturday, February 10th, 1:30 - 3:30pm
